Natural deodorant has gotten a bad rap and I can understand why, some just plain STINK. But, just like anything else, not all natural deodorants are created equally. Here are some non-toxic deodorant brands that actually work.

Why Natural Deodorant
A few years ago, I started taking a serious look what we put into our body along with the things we put on our body. We often don’t realize that the products we choose to apply can penetrate through our skin. According to the National Library of Medicine, on average skin absorption is around 64%. We might as well be eating our beauty products. Slightly dramatic, but you get the point.
Non-Toxic Living
To go along with that point, I recently watched “Not So Pretty” on Netflix and one thing that stood out to me we assume the products on the shelves are safe and that just isn’t true.
The United States has little regulation on cosmetic products banning only a handful of ingredients, where Europe has a growing list of 2800+ ingredients prohibited from cosmetic products.
I know many people, including my boyfriend who would react terribly to traditional deodorants. Rashes so bad it would hurt to put his arm down. After making the switch, he hasn’t the slightest irritation.
